Unmute was born from a quiet itch — the sense that everyday life, in all its repetition, could use a slight twist. Not a transformation. Just a little shift.

PD, founder of Unmute is a curator working in contemporary art, someone who spends her days surrounded by objects that alter perception in subtle, lasting ways. She collects artworks and design pieces for how they change the way of living. She believes in the quiet power of not fully adhering to standards — of leaving room for play, contradiction, and self-invention.

She was always looking for a piece that is…
Not loud.
